The class has become the new “Governor” of the New World. They must make
crucial decisions to be successful in the New World. Take the quiz as a class
and see how well you would survive as a colonis
- Extension: You can also go to: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/colonialhouse/about_rules.html and project the rules the colonist had to
abide by. There are links on the side to follow. I suggest the Ordering of
Society, Worship and Sabbath, Trade and the Indians, and Of Masters and
Servants. At the end, write
about whether they think after today’s lesson they could have survived during
this time period.
